State of the ERG 2021
Check out the updated State of the ERG Report for 2022. Out now.
It is clear that Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) have a positive impact on company culture, policies, brand perception, innovation, recruitment of traditionally underrepresented groups in the workplace, and overall productivity when functioning effectively. When ERGs are not structured effectively and ERG leads are not compensated for their work as a lead, this can create the opposite effect.
There has been little guidance on where to start when preparing a proactive business case for ERG lead compensation and developing ERG programs that will lead to long term success. The Rise Journey prioritizes this research in conjunction with its mission to provide high-value, metrics-driven support in order to facilitate sustainable organizational change.
In order to understand the current state of ERGs in our organizations, the second annual State of the ERG Report analyzes data from the 2021 ERG Lead Compensation Survey, provides year-over-year comparisons from the 2020 report where possible, includes resources and personal anecdotes from industry professionals, and addresses the topics listed below.
The report covers the following topics:
Are ERGs Receiving Funding in 2021? How Much?
Are ERG Leads Being Paid in 2021?
How Do You Determine The Compensation Amount? What Forms of Compensation Exist?
How Do You Make the Case to Pay ERG Leads?
How Do You Measure ERG Lead Success?
What Questions Should You Answer Before Compensating ERG Leads?
How Can ERG Leads Structure Their Time?
And more!
When you download the report, you will receive access to a free 30-minute ERG-focused coaching session with Jes Osrow. We look forward to supporting your organization as you work to develop a successful program. By entering your information above, you will also be notified when our 2022 survey is administered, and we hope that you can participate.
